Dual Monitor Setup

The first step in getting openlp.org working on your system is to set up your computer properly to be able to make use of both monitors. This is actually quite easy.

1. Firstly, make sure you have a dual monitor setup. Most laptops are ready for the next step already, but if you have a PC, you need to make sure you either have a dual head graphics card, or a second graphics card.
2. Your next step is to right-click on the desktop and click on the Properties menu item in the menu that pops up.
3. Now go to the Settings tab (see the top of the dialog that just appeared) [Figure 1].
4. Then, click on the second monitor (indicated by the "2") and set it's color depth and resolution using the controls on the screen.
5. Lastly, either check the box that says, Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor. or right-click on the second monitor and click the Attached menu item in the menu that pops up.
6. Click Apply and your settings should be applied.
