Going Live

Of course once you've set up your order of service, and it's now Sunday, you want to Go Live! Once again, this is a simple affair.

1. Load your saved order of service by clicking on the Open Order of Service button on the Order of Service toolbar and selecting your saved Order of Service file.
   
2. Double-click on each item as you want it to go to the live screen.
   
3. If at any stage during the service (or indeed any other time) you would like to preview the items in the order of service, all you need to do is to right-click on the item in the order of service and click on Preview Item.
   
4. While a song is live, the control options described below are available at the bottom of the live control.
   
   
   1. Go one verse backwards
   
   2. Go one verse forwards
   
   3. Close the current slide keeping the theme background image
   
   4. Close the current slide using a black background
   
   5a.Should you want a blank screen in between songs, and while loading new songs, etc, simply click on the Blank screen button below the Live control panel.
   
   
   5b. When you want to show the next song or other item in the order of service, just click the button again to "un-blank" the screen.
   
   
   6. If you need to use the output screen for other applications that for some reason clash with openlp.org, you can 'Hide' the output display.  When you resume use of openlp.org, simply 'UnHide' the display again.
   
   7. Timed slides can be useful, especially before a service starts and various notices/welcome messages need to be displayed. By clicking this icon, the verses of the current song (lyrics/notices) are automatically advanced using the time interval set up in Settings found under 'Options->Settings'. 
   Note that if a slide has only 1 verse, this icon is not available on the control bar.
