Managing Songs
Songs are the focal point of openlp.org, with it's original and main feature being projecting of songs using a dual screen display. So with that, it's essential that you are able to manage those songs.
There are 3 main operations: adding, editing and deleting. Adding was covered in the Create a New Song topic, so here we will discuss editing and deleting of songs.
Editing Songs
Editing songs is a very simple process.
- Select the song you want to edit by clicking on it in the song list.
- Click the Edit Song button in the toolbar of the Songstab in the Media Manager.
- A window will open with the song's details therein (see image below), and you can edit the various details of the song. Once you have finished editing your song, simply click the "OK" button, and your changes will be saved to the database.
Deleting Songs
Deleting a song is even easier than editing it.
- Find the song you want in the song list and select it by clicking on it.
- Cick the delete button in the song action toolbar.
- You will be prompted to confirm your decision, and then the song will be deleted.
