GIF files

I wish open lp can suppourt GIF files, because they are very handy to show announcements, the welcome screen etc.

Gif's are supported. Or do you mean animated ones? Not sure I'd be happy with the quality of gifs for notices!

Are you aware of the Timed Slide Cycling/Slide Wrap Around options which allow a custom slide or "Song"  containing your notices to cycle indefinitately?
