Semi-Transparent Text on Song Lyics

I wonder if there is a way to do this that I have not found but doubt that it exists at this tiem.

I see the SAME lack in ALL Worship Projector progarms, I like to use different JPG's as background for my Song Lyics, some are lighter than others and some change over the area of the screen making text some times hard to see easily, even if the font color has been changed.  Adding a shaow helps but greatly detracts from the efeect of the JPG in the background.

I have been able to acheive satisfactory results in MS PowerPoint by selecting Format Text Box and using a Semi-Transparent Text and setting it to around 50% black.

This allows the viewer to still be able to make out the background AND clearly see the words.

If there is a way to do this or if it is incorporated PLEASE let me know.

It's not possible to do this as present.

Have you tried using a "hollow" font? For example I just tried a font called Vagabond Shadow and switched on outline too with the same colour as the font, and it seemed to work quite well.
