Hi All

I am looking at Openlp with a view to changing from the current worship software that we use and have been trying to find a CSV version of 'The Meassage' Bible to import but with no joy!

Can anybody help with some good advice?

Would also be goot to know if there is a database of Hillsong lyrics out there too?

As long as you are aware of any copyright issues, there are scripts for downloading Bibles (as well as other utilities) at: http://ricepudd.googlepages.com/myopenlputilities

I don't know of any databases in openlp.org format, but there are certainly websites which have lyrics you can copy and paste. Just search Google for: hillsongs lyrics

Do you have The Message Bible already for the software you currently use? If might be possible, if they store the Bible in an accessable unencrypted format, to convert it. The same might be true for the lyrics you are looking for if you already have them in a different form.

As gushie mentioned, he has a number of scripts for converting Bibles from one format to another. We don't offer the more modern translations of the Bible on our site because it is illegal in many countries, and we would liable for litigation if we did.

However, you can find a dowloadable version of The Message on the OpenSong site. gushie has a script which can convert the OpenSong Bible format into CSV, ready to import into openlp.org.
