Alert Notification Issues

Just want to say great job on everything!  I am on version 1.0.1.  I wanted to know if there was a way around this but we occasionally use ppt slides for the message that the pastor has given us.  If we are in this slideshow the alert notification does not go away till we switch to the next slide.  Is there any way around this?

The only way would be for a forced screen refresh.

Powerpoint does not know about the Altet so cannot generate a refresh. 

Openlp may do, but a refresh may be not what you want.   If the presentation is exposing points as the sermen progresses then it may show the next point to early OR return to the start of the slide.  Neither is good.

Each case will be different.
