Problem with themes for songs

I'm having some issues with trying to apply specific themes to specific songs.  When I go into the song edit menu, it lists the current them as "no theme".  When I click on the drop down menu there are no other options.  When I go into "add a theme" it brings up the wizard, however the options it's showing is for the last custom theme I created.  It won't let me change the name of the theme, so any changes I make are done to that theme instead of creating a new one.  On top of all this, no matter what I do, it still lists "no theme" for the song and doesn't add any other themes to the drop down list.  The end result is that no matter what I do I can't seem to pick or create a theme for a specific song.

Re: Problem with themes for songs

Hi smurray,

I have a few questions for you:

  • When did this start?
  • Did you remove any themes?
  • Did you inadvertently delete the themes directory?
  • Which version of windows are you running?

Re: Problem with themes for songs

As far as I know it's always happened.  I've never attempted to assign themes to specific songs before.  I've removed and added a few themes, but never got any errors or anything while doing so.  And I've never deleted the themes directory, accidently or otherwise.  I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate.  The themes I create are all showing up in the theme manager, and I can use all of them by either choosing the global level or OOS option, I just can't seem to assign any to a song.

I did notice that if I use the create song wizard instead of the classic mode, it actually does let me choose a theme from the drop down menu.  Unfortunately no matter which I choose, it doesn't seem to save the option because when I go back into the son edit it still shows "no theme".

Can you zip and e-mail me your songs.olp file please?
