Problems blanking slide

Hello!

I'm new to openlp and so far have greatly enjoyed using it.

However, I noticed a problem with the way that openlp blanks the slide. Specifically, when I blank the slide on the projector, I see the upper right quarter is black but the rest of the background of the desktop can be seen in the remaining three quarters.

I'm running the latest stable version on Windows XP.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: Problems blanking slide

I vaguely recall a similar issue way sometime back during testing although not heard of any issues in the stable versions.

Can you let us know the resolutions of your primary and secondary monitors? Does it happen everytime you blank the screen? Do you start it up, show a song, blank the screen and only a 1/4 is blanked? Ta.

Re: Problems blanking slide

The resolution of my primary screen is 1280 by 800 and the resolution of the projector is at 1024 by 768. The problem seems to be more than just blanking a fourth of the screen. When I display a song or a bible verse, everything is shifted up and to the left like a translation error. When I go back to the powerpoint slide, it displays the powerpoint slide correctly.

It doesn't seem to create the problem if I don't open powerpoint with openlp and go straight to displaying a bible verse or blank the screen. It seems that after opening a powerpoint presentation is when the problem begins.

Thanks for all your hard work and help!
