CAPTCHACAPTCHA doesn't appear on Firefox

I tried registering a new account today and it failed twice as the CAPTCHA did not appear. Instead all I could see was:

CAPTCHA
This question is for testing whether you are a human visitor and to prevent automated spam submissions.
Enter "foo": *

with the field to enter my response. I was using Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.6 on OpenSuse Linux 10.3. When I used the Konqueror browser on the same machine the mathematical expression appeared correctly and I was able to register. So it's not a showstopper, unless you're using Firefox.

Re: CAPTCHACAPTCHA doesn't appear on Firefox

Hmmm.... that's funny... most of us use Firefox, and I have tested the CAPTCHA stuff out, and it seemed to work. I'll see if I can trace down that bug.

Re: CAPTCHACAPTCHA doesn't appear on Firefox

I can confirm this bug. First load of the page containing the CAPTCHA displayed "foo". reloading displayed a CAPTCHA image. repeated reloading varies between "foo" and image. Hope this helps.

I am using Firefox3.

I'll see if I can disable that particular CAPTCHA, it does seem to be a bug (I've found it on another site I've done).
