Getting Support

If you're looking for support, please do the following:

  1. Browse the forums and search for your problem. It most probably has been reported and dealt with before in the forums.
  2. If you don't find your problem in the forums, read the Bug Reporting section of the online manual, and then post your problem in the appropriate forum thread.
  3. If you still don't get any feedback from the forums, go to the support page and take it from there.
  4. Don't send Raoul or Derek support e-mails. They don't have the time to both develop openlp.org and respond to everyone's support requests.

Contacting the Team

There are various ways to contact the openlp.org team.

  • If you want to file a bug report you can do so in the appropriate bug reports forum.
  • If you want to file a feature request, do so in the feature requests forum.
  • If you want to ask for support (how do I get Powerpoint working in openlp.org?), see our support page.
  • If you want to enquire about joining one of our teams, contact the head of that team (see list below).

IRC Channel

openlp.org has a channel on the Freenode IRC network: irc.freenode.net/#openlp.org. Go to the Live Chat page to join the IRC channel now.

For a more permanent connection, you can look at using the following IRC clients:

  • Windows users: X-Chat for Windows
  • Mac OS X users: Colloquy
  • Linux users: Most Linux distributions come bundled with an IRC client.

Please Note: The developers' contact details have been removed due to too many people contacting them directly for help. If you wish to interact with them directly, please visit them in the IRC channel.
