Exporting Songs

Songs can only be exported in openlp.org file format. The main uses would be moving of songs between openlp.org installations and backup purposes.

The export songs menu item can be found at the following location:

Upon selecting to export songs from openlp.org you will be presented with the following export assistant:

Follow these steps to export songs:

Select the filename and path to be to which the song/s that you wish to export will be written using the file selection dialog at the top of the window.
Now select the songs you want to export from the song list in the left hand file list called "Full Song List".
Press the >> button as indicated to add the selected song/s to the export list.
Once all the required songs are added to the song import list, press the Export button.
The selected songs are now exported into the selected file, with the export progress shown in the Progress box.
Lastly, press Close to close the export assistant.
